View Wow! What an amazing week we had at VBS 2011! God worked in very special ways with another safe and wonderfully fun year with the Go Fish Guys (our second quality program from them). The kids had a great time as they improved their biblical knowledge and grew closer to Jesus, understanding what it means to be a Christian and about who God is. We had a blast "Kickin' It Old School" and learning about the old hymns, while moving and grooving to them in a new way! It was a record breaking year with 125 children and over 50 volunteer workers each day! We would like to ask that you would pray for the kids that were touched during our Vacation Bible School week with the Gospel, and that God would make provision for their continued growth. Our missions focus for the week was to raise funds to purchase meal supplies (rice, dehydrated vegetables, etc.) through the NiCE (Nicaragua Christian Education) Foundation. The generous support that was raised will help the Spooner community-wide packing event coming to the Spooner Elementary School on October 22, 2011.
