Youth Mission Trips

Kansas City, Missouri
July 2008

After the10+ hour drive to Kansas City, MO, our group was greeted, not only by the 104 degree temps, but also by the friendly and very energetic YOUTHWORKS team. We joined up with two other teams from Texas and Minnesota.

While we were in Kansas City, we experienced the culture and Innercity Missions in a variety of ways by serving at a "Operation Breakthrough", visiting with residents at nursing homes, weeding at community gardens, tutoring at a reading program, helping elderly residents with yardwork and painting, as well as serving one-another and developing relationships with other team mates.

We thank you for the many ways you helped us get to Kansas City, and your prayer support before, during and after the missions trip.
