We would like to invite you to come as you are, be encouraged and refreshed as you discover the love of our Lord Jesus Christ through practical, real-life messages, music, fellowship and much more.
Worship is an important way of knowing God and at Spooner Wesleyan we believe Jesus makes a real difference in the lives of people. He forgives our sin, heals our hurts, helps our marriages and families, and fulfills us personally. What a great God!
What to expect
When you enter the church, kids and adults will be visiting throughout the entry, halls, and Gathering Area. You will likely be greeted by some friendly faces as you make your way to the sanctuary. If you would like a cup of coffee to start your morning, please stop by the Gathering Area where freshly brewed coffee is available. As you enter the sanctuary, ushers will greet you and give you a program of the worship service. Additional ushers are nearby if you need assistance finding a seat.
The service includes a blend of traditional and contemporary music styles. We also have a variety of special music styles, from solos to gospel quartets to teen and adult ensembles. The message is Bible-based and balanced - no fluff, but not over your head either. It connects with where you live.
Hearing amplification devices are available for use during worship service. If you need assistance, please visit the sound booth located inside the sanctuary doors. Sound-booth attendants are happy to help.
We Love Children!
We want your children to feel comfortable and cared for while they are here. Well-staffed nurseries are available for Infants and Children up to age 4. You are welcome to utilize the nurseries at any time – before, during, or after the service. The nurseries are located next to the sanctuary.
During service, children are dismissed to attend a children's program (Children's Church [ages 4 - grade 2] or Wesleyan Kids for Missions (WKFM) [ages 4 - grade 5]). As children are dismissed, adult leaders will meet them in the entry and care for them until service is finished.
